Career

Sultan is a well-renowned Omani lawyer highly experience in litigation and dispute resolutions. He is also esteemed in the field of commercial arbitration with a specific focus on contracting agreements, commercial financial disputes and construction disputes in accordance with FIDIC Contracts and Omani Standard Terms and Conditions issued on 1981 and 2019 Editions.

He received his Bachelors from Sultan Qaboos University, specializing in Commercial Law, and later obtained his Master’s degree in International Trade Law from the Paris-Descartes University (Paris V). Sultan pursued further academic achievement from the London School of Economics and Political Science having received his qualifications in commercial contracts, financial law and investments. Alongside his legal practice, Sultan contributes to a number of scientific researches in the field of commercial arbitration, human trafficking and commercial competition.
Sultans expertise in analysing legal language and documentation is well-trusted and revered by his clients. Sultan has handled various multi -million Omani Riyal disputes in construction, corporate dealings and shareholders disputes. He excels in labour disputes having been the primary legal representative to numerous high-net worth clients. Moreover, Sultan has handled numerous administrative cases in Omani Administrative Courts related to compensations issues often challenging ministerial decisions.
Within his career, Sultan has focused on advising on complex and sophisticated transactions. He has been a key advisor to clients on various fields of law inclusive of PPPs, joint-ventures, privatization contracts, profit sharing, with particular emphasis on ITCs and development projects.
