Managing Partner at Gresyndale Legal – 2012

Oyinkan was called to the Bar in 2005 and had 17 years Post call experience. She worked at several notable firms such as Babalakin & Co., Afebabalola, Ejide Sodipo & Co. She decided to bridge what she saw as a lacuna in the provision of legal services in the country and create a firm with strengths both in prevention as well as reaction to usual issues that arise. She embarked on an MBA at Tanaka Business School Imperial College. This allowed her better understand the needs of her clients. She has been running the firm for well over a decade and has grown the team to spread around the various states of Nigeria such as Portharcourt, Kano and Abuja with plans to strengthen the organisation’s international ties. She had used her skills to assist her clients coming into the Nigerian market to scale the many local hurdles and constructional voids rife in such emerging markets. She has a strong business acumen and is well versed and experienced in family law, property law, litigation, corporate/commercial law, labour law and maritime law, amongst others. Mrs. Alakija prides herself on seeing law as a calling. She is committed to excellence and is renowned for her commitment to her Clients, protection of their interests and her efficacy at annihilating threats to her Clients. She is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch and sits on various committees. She is also a member of the International Bar Association and a published author.
