Career

Ton van Oosten heads the Commercial and Corporate Litigation department of DVAN Advocaten. He joined DVAN Advocaten as partner in 2013.

Ton specializes in arbitration, post M&A and shareholders disputes, D&O liability, insurance claims, general liability law, commercial disputes/claims, contract interpretation and liability, civil fraud (internal and acquisition fraud) and real estate related disputes and transactions for a wide variety of Dutch and international clients.  Ton has extensive expertise, experience and an outstanding track record in corporate and commercial summary proceedings.

Ton started his career at the leading Dutch law firm Houthoff Buruma in 1995. Ton previously worked at Simmons & Simmons and as a partner at Kneppelhout & Korthals.

Education

Ton graduated form the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 1995. He studied at the University of Hamburg (1994),  the University of Madrid (1993) and the University of Strassbourg (1995).
