Position

Hannah is a Legal Director, whose work concerns group actions spanning KP Law’s emissions cases and investment fraud and mis-selling claims. She is also involved in instances concerning exchange failings, particularly where investors have lost money as the result of outages and disruption as in the case of Binance and the London Metal Exchange.

Hannah’s practice also concerns shareholder disputes, helping investors to seek redress under Section 90 of the Financial Services and Markets Act based on losses as a result of misleading statements or omissions made in public disclosures.

Career

Before joining our firm, Hannah trained at Bingham McCutchen and qualified into the litigation group specialising in financial and insolvency-related disputes. She later moved to Akin Gump, where she acted for a range of financial institutions and international corporations on high-value commercial, financial, insolvency and fraud claims in both the London and Hong Kong offices.

She also has experience acting for individuals and institutions in internal company and government investigation, shareholder disputes and activist investments, advising office holders in insolvencies, and advising litigation funders on funding structure.

Hannah graduated from University College London before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at City University with Distinction. She later completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law and later completing the LPC with Distinction at the College of Law.
