Passionate about consumer law, Irene has worked as legal advisor for the European Consumer Centre of Ireland. Highly competent in civil and commercial law, her knowledge also extends to private (family, property, inheritance, labour, personal injury) and contract law.

Irene Damiani has a remarkable knowledge of Intellectual property law. She carried out important research on copyright issues related to online libraries, while successfully leading the Italian Rotaract project of digitising the public library of Palermo, in 2016. Her dissertation was assessed by Professor E. O’Dell (Head of Copyright Review Committee in Ireland) with high 2.1 (68%) and commented “first class piece of analysis”.
