Career
Davi Tangerino is one of the founding partners of Davi Tangerino Advogados. Before founding DTA, he worked as head of the white-collar crime practice at Trench Rossi Watanabe (in association with Baker McKenzie) for four years; before that, he also clerked for Supreme Court Justice Lewandowski. Davi has authored many books and articles in Brazil and abroad. He is also a frequent speaker to national media.

Memberships
Davi was a member of the Brazilian National Counsel of Criminal and Penitentiary Politics and Protection of Fundamental Rights of the Prisoner and is currently a member of IBCCrim (the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences), IAB (the Brazilian Lawyers Institute) and of the Deutsche-Brasilianische Juristenvereinigung (DBJV).
Education
He is a professor of criminal law at the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Davi holds a BL and also an LLM and a JD in criminal law from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP), with doctoral scholarships at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin (Germany).
