Career

Jose Feria, Jr., son of former Supreme Court Justice Jose Y. Feria, is the Senior Partner of the law firm Feria Tantoco Daos. His practice revolves primarily around Commercial and Banking Transactions, as well as Special Projects involving Corporation Law, Land Rights, Property Law and Mining Laws.

During his tertiary education years at the De La Salle University, he completed double major, obtaining bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Economics in 1971. He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Sto. Tomas and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1977.

Atty. Feria is also the corporate chairman of the following companies: Assessment Analytics, Inc., Cyan Management Corporation, Premiere Travel and Tours, Inc., Spencer Foods Corporation, and Vinnell-Belvoir Corporation. In addition, he holds board membership and/or acts as Corporate Secretary for various companies such as Aero Asia, Inc., All Asian Countertrade, Inc., Directories Philippine Corporation, EZ Chew Corporation, Felvisol Development Corporation, HL&F Management Corporation, Liberty Flour Mills, Inc., Macawiwili Gold Mining and Dev. Co., Inc., Montecito Properties, Inc., Padre Burgos Realty, Inc. and Teleperfomance (Telephilippines, Inc.).

He is a past president of the Philippine Bar Association, the oldest voluntary national organization of lawyers in the Philippines. In addition to his practice of law, he is Chairman of Maryville Urban Development Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees and Corporate Secretary of Gawad Kalinga Community Foundation, Inc., and Operation Big Brother Foundation, Inc.
