Sheryar Khan holds a double bachelor’s degree in engineering and law; graduating with a 2:1 in both. He completed his Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in 2008 and was subsequently called to the bar by Lincolns Inn in 2009.

Sheryar has worked in the UK legal arena for over fifteen years and thus has extensive knowledge and experience. Sheryar advises on all aspects of UK Public Law and Litigation.

Sheryar also regularly advises SMEs and larger corporations on compliance and has assisted in the management of Sponsor Licences. His clients include multinational companies with more than 10,000 employees and a net worth estimated by Forbes to be more than £ 1 Billion.

Sheryar has regularly been appearing for appeals at the first and upper tribunal and assisted counsel in leading cases which went onto be reported and shaped English law.

He has several reported cases to his credit and his articles have been published in various reputable magazines including the Solicitors Journal. He has marshalled for the Honourable Mr Justice Blackburne and the Honourable Mrs Justice Dobbs at the Royal Courts of Justice.

To date, Mr Khan has personally appeared for more than 600 appeal hearings at the First and Upper Tribunal and is involved in matters in the Court of Appeal and the High Court. One of his most notable case is the recent case of Ahsan v The Secretary of State for the Home Department (Rev 1) [2017] EWCA Civ 2009 where he instructed and worked closely with the late Mr Stephen Knafler QC and Rowan Pennington Benton. This case directly affects approximately 45,000 migrants.

Sheryar has also worked closely with Mr Manjit Gill KC and Mr Zane Malik KC delivering successful results for his clients time and again.
