Katrien is a dually qualified and all-round litigator. She represents clients in complex domestic and international litigation and arbitration matters as well as compliance matters. Katrien has extensive experience in commercial and finance disputes, as well as restructuring and insolvency matters (including the enforcement of financial collateral) and auditor litigation.

Katrien serves as the Draftsperson of the Rules Standing Committee of the Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation (which has been shortlisted by the Global Arbitration Review for “Best New Development”) and is the vice-chair of the legal committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg.

Katrien holds a Master of Law from the University of Leuven (Belgium), a Master of Science, European Studies from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom).
