She spent seven years as an assistant professor at the Institute for Employment and Social Law at the University of Vienna. Kathrina was the first female research assistant to go on to the Austrian Supreme Court. She then went on to work in a number of top-tier commercial law firms before establishing herself as a lawyer in her own firm. Katharina has been a partner at Völkl Rechtsanwälte since 2020.
