Clemens is a lecturer at the Institute of Civil and Business Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, speaker at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the Anwaltsakademie (Austrian Lawyers’ Academy), as well as the author of several specialist books and more than 50 articles in journals.

He is one of the top litigators in the country and is also an arbitrator on the panel of the permanent neutral arbitral tribunal of the Austrian Soccer Association.

Education

Clemens studied in Vienna, London and Stockholm. He spent four years as an assistant professor at the Department of Civil Law at the University of Vienna. He then went on to work for several renowned law firms before becoming a partner at Völkl Rechtsanwälte in 2010.
