Over the last few years, Marie has been involved in a number of high-profile cross-border merger control investigations before the European Commission and UK authorities and has acquired considerable experience in advising private equity houses and financial sponsors.

Marie is an experienced competition lawyer and advises on all aspects of EU and UK competition law and Foreign Direct Investment, with a focus on:

• UK, EU and French antitrust investigations and private enforcement (e.g. against Google)
• Worldwide, EU and UK merger notifications (in particular for large corporates and PE firms)

Over the years, Marie developed an expertise in cartel investigations and worked on various high-profile cross-border cartel investigations. She has extensive experience in a range of sectors including banking, finance services, insurance, energy, oil and gas, consumer goods as well as healthcare.
