Position
Associate Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence Department
Career
Elizabeth established the Clinical Negligence Team at Wollens in July 2013, having created a department in the same field at another South Devon law firm previously.
She has worked exclusively in clinical negligence for the last 18 years.
Elizabeth specialises in handling high-value and complex claims. She deals with clients nationally as well as locally, and prides herself on providing a friendly, personal service to clients, no matter their location.
Elizabeth is passionate about her work and her particular interest is in surgical error and delayed diagnosis of cancer claims. She is also one of the few solicitors in the UK to specialise in necrotising fascitis cases. Most of her work comes via recommendations from existing clients and business connections.
Leisure
Out of work Elizabeth is the Chair of Governors at a local primary school, which is part of an Academy Trust. She enjoys weight training at the gym, as well as some relaxation at yoga classes! She has two young children who keep her very busy, and as a family they enjoy travelling at home and abroad.
