Position

Sarah Hare is a Senior Associate and s106 specialist.

Sarah acts for a wide range of clients in the public and private sector. Her expertise and knowledge mean that Sarah can advise on all aspects of general Planning Law and has a particular focus and specialism on negotiating and drafting s106 agreements as well as statutory highways, drainage agreements and other infrastructure agreements. Sarah also specialises in public rights of way and village green, and commons matters.

Sarah regularly advises developers on large scale developments – advising on, negotiating, and drafting complex s106 agreements – many of which are not ‘the norm’. Moreover, Sarah will overcome challenges such as stopping-up highways.

Career

Sarah joined Holmes & Hills as a Trainee Solicitor in 2016 and is now a Senior Associate in the Planning Law Department.

Today, Sarah, as a Senior Associate and specialist planning solicitor, spearheads the firm’s specialism in s106 matters alongside Thomas McPhie and Jo Lilliott.

Also, Sarah speaks annually at the firm’s annual Planning Law Updates which have been run for over 15 years and which attract over 300 bookings from regional planning, land, and property professionals.
