Position

Stelian Garofil is co-head of the firm and he specializes in commercial law, bankruptcy, white collar criminal defence, internal investigations and complex commercial litigation matters. He has assisted clients in some of the most important acquisitions and privatization deals on the Romanian market, gaining a lot of experience in negotiating such transactions.

He is an experienced litigator and he has represented corporations and individuals in criminal investigations and in related civil trails.

His recent experience includes all sort of corporate and commercial aspects related to investment arbitration (ICSID). He has advised clients in relation to Competition Council investigations, antitrust matters, unfair competition and patent and trademark issues.

Career

Starting with 2015, Stelian Garofil is a member of the Discipline Committee of the Bucharest Bar. He holds a law degree from the “Nicolae Titulescu” University Law School, Bucharest (2000), and he is a member of the Bucharest Bar (2001).
