Career
Michael is specialized in advising on corporate and competition matters in Ecuador. His practice includes advice on commercial and civil matters.
He is dedicated to preventive advice on competition law to several national and foreign companies in their operation in Ecuador, this includes economic operators in the oil, cement, rubber, assemblers, importers, vehicle dealers, operators from the agrochemicals, telecommunications, plasma producers, among others. On the other hand, he also performs corporate, civil and commercial contractual advice to clients within the oil industry

Education
Michael is a Lawyer and Doctor in Jurisprudence from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, has an LLM in Business Law from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom and an LLM with an emphasis in European Competition Law and international economic law from the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
He has a Diploma in European Competition Law from King’s College at the University of London in the United Kingdom. He has been an arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Quito Chamber of Commerce since 2014.
