Johan is a member of the Lindahl’s Intellectual Property and Commercial dispute resolution groups with main focus on copyright and marketing law. In addition, he also specialises in commercial agreements and has extensive experience with agreements used by the IT and media industries. As a result of his specialised knowledge in these sectors, Johan is often engaged as counsel before both courts and arbitral tribunals, particularly in disputes relating to breach of contract, infringement/usage, and damages. In addition, Johan acts as counsel in construction disputes.
Thanks to his experience, Johan often provides advice on related areas of law, such as protection of trade secrets and questions related to commercial agents, commission agreements, and distribution agreements. Johan’s interest in privacy issues has also led to extensive experience on issues relating to personal data (GDPR) and e-commerce, as well as matters involving freedom of the press and freedom of expression, including defamation. Johan is the author of two agreement modules related to service and consultancy agreements and IT agreements in Norstedts Juridiks’s database service, JUNO. He co-authored Reklamjuridik and Marknadsföringsrätt – den materiella rätten och processen, two books on the law of marketing.
