Position

As a partnerin Gorrissen Federspiel’s IP & Digital Business department Kenneth Kvistgaard-Aaholm in particular advises technology intensive Danish and foreign companies focusing on all aspects of in particular patent law but also other intellectual property rights. In addition to handling IP litigation before Danish courts he often assists Danish companies in coordinating multi-national intellectual property disputes. Further, he advises on other intellectual property related issues, including IP strategies and based on his background in the firm’s Competition Law department cases on the intersection between competition law and intellectual property rights. Kenneth Kvistgaard-Aaholm has for a number of years been teaching in the subject Market Law which includes competition law, intellectual property law and marketing law at Aarhus University, and also teaches on DIFI (Danish Institute for Intellectual Property Education) courses on the interplay between competition law and intellectual property law. He has also taught intellectual property law on Danish bar courses, and often gives lectures and seminars on intellectual property law. Kenneth Kvistgaard-Aaholm is the author of a number of articles and other publications, including the chapter “Expanding IP Strategies in a Globalized World” in “IP Client Strategies in the EU” and the chapter on Denmark in ”Patent Litigation”.
