At Gorrissen Federspiel we work every day to accommodate diversity and inclusion. We believe that diversity is the key to success, and our goal is to maintain a diverse workforce on all levels in the firm. The following are some indicators of our focus on this important area.

Gorrissen Federspiel is a founding partner of The Diversity Council, which aims to improve the number of top female talent in the Danish business community. Initiatives include working with the Financial Times/IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance to create an Advanced Leadership Program, and the recent CEO Pledge entitled “The ABCs of Diversity and Inclusion”.
Three of the firm’s female partners were selected to participate in the Lead the Future campaign – launched in 2018 by The Diversity Council and the Danish Minister for Gender Equality – which aims to inspire young women.
Within the firm, the percentage of female attorneys (excluding Partners) continues to increase and in 2020 this figure was 54%. This is up from 52% in 2019 and 42% in 2018. We continue having a high focus on our employees’ wellbeing and individual career development through structured training and career paths.

It is part of our CSR policy that we are an inclusive firm, and therefore, we do not squint at age, gender, disability, race and ethnicity, sexuality, and social class.

Gorrissen Federspiel is also a signatory to the UN Global Compact, which means operating in ways that uphold 10 principles in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption. At the heart of this are 17
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), two of which are particularly integrated into the firms business model in respect to our diversity and inclusivity commitments:
• SDG 4. Inclusivity: Ensure inclusive and equality quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities
for all.
• SDG 5. Equality: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
