Noted for its longstanding work in the energy sector, The Law Firm of AlSalloum and AlToaimi in association with White & Case LLP recently advised Saudi Aramco on the structuring, tendering and development of the Fadhili cogeneration plant independent power project. Project finance is a core focus of the team at Abuhimed Alsheikh Alhagbani Law Firm (AS&H) in co-operation with Clifford Chance, which is led by Yasser Al-Hussain and Mohamed Hamra-Krouha. Dubai-based Christopher Cross and Sohail Barkatali lead the projects and energy practice at Hogan Lovells (Middle East) LLP, which has been involved in a number of electricity, oil and gas, water and infrastructure projects in the Kingdom. Clients include EDF Energy Renewables, Al Fanar and Acwa Power.

Development and financing specialists Edward Rose and Yusuf Giansiracusa at Jones Day in association with Ebrahim Alhabardi Law Office are advising Veolia Middle East on the development of a new hazardous waste treatment facility in Jubail Industrial City.

Project finance specialist Stephen Matthews leads the team at the Law Office of Mohanned bin Saud Al-Rasheed in association with Baker Botts L.L.P., with strong support from Shadi Haroon.
