Called to the Bar in 2010

Elsa joined Chambers in March 2020.  Elsa practices in Family Law with an emphasis on emphasis on Public and Private Law Children matters, and Regulatory Law.

Prior to coming to the bar, Elsa completed a stagiaire at the Council of Europe, assigned to the Directorate General of Human Rights and Legal Affairs, Public and Private Law Division, working on family law matters. Prior to this Elsa worked at Refugee and Migrant Justice assisting in immigration casework. Elsa has a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution particularly in private family law matters and completed mediation training in 2011 and co-mediated on children and divorce matters with a local mediation service.

Volunteering

Whilst reading law Elsa undertook various voluntary roles including volunteering as an advocate on the BPP schools exclusion project representing families at independent appeal panel hearings and an internship at the Public Interest Litigation Clinic, Kansas City, Missouri to assist with the representation of those on death row.
