Called to the Bar in 2015
Samantha joined the bar after spending 17 years as a police officer having achieved the rank of Detective Inspector. Her practice is in general crime with expertise in DNA cases.
Samantha both prosecutes and defends in the Magistrates’, Youth and Crown Court. She has accepted instructions in a wide range of cases from traffic matters to Sexual Offences and Drug Supply cases. She has prosecuted for both the CPS and the National Probation Service.

- R v NN (2017) : Kingston CC: Defended in DNA Dwelling Burglary case. Hung jury. CPS reviewed in light of no case to answer written argument and decided not to proceed to retrial
