Steve Lavell was appointed Chambers Director at 2DRJ in June 1999 having previously held senior positions in a leading London based Chambers.

Steve leads an enthusiastic and dynamic clerking team and is committed to providing a high-quality service to clients.

Steve is responsible for the development and management of chambers on a day to day basis.  He has overall responsibility for the development and management of all practices in Chambers and is committed to providing an excellent level of service for those that instruct, using his years of experience and in-depth knowledge of our members practice’s to recommend the most suitable counsel for each case.

Steve’s comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of every member of chambers and their practice which, when coupled with his ‘can do’ approach, makes for a friendly, professional, and efficient service.

With over 40 years experience Steve is widely praised for his, enthusiasm, forward thinking, approachability and willingness to go the extra miles for both his members and their clients.
