Partner in the Administrative Law practice group at TozziniFreire, José Augusto has solid expertise in administrative sanctions law related to compliance. He has coordinated several independent investigations for listed companies involving several jurisdictions, and assisted in risk assessment related to anti-corruption legislation in corporate transactions. Jose Augusto also works in governmental, regulatory and compliance matters related to the implementation of infrastructure projects – especially ports and terminals – as well as of the oil and gas sector in Brazil.
