Described by clients as ‘one of the most qualified labour teams in the country’, TozziniFreire Advogados  is regarded for its expertise in both contentious and non-contentious labour matters. The team frequently acts in sensitive dismissals involving C-level executives, strategic lawsuits and in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements with unions. The group is also well placed to assist mandates concerning outsourcing and internal labour audits. Its diverse client portfolio features domestic and international heavyweights from a variety of industries, namely consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, financial services and IT. Leading the department, Alexandre de Almeida Cardoso has vast experience in acting for employers in disputes involving wrongful termination, executives’ employment contracts and labour unions. Andre Fittipaldi offers expertise in social security issues, while Gabriela Lima specialises in non-contentious mandates, including hiring and compensation structures, which is also an area of focus for Mihoko Kimura. Fernanda Bianco Pimentel is recommended for litigation and negotiations with unions. Leonardo Augusto Padilha Bertanha is also a key name for collective bargaining, legal audits and due diligence.
