Career

Luís Felipe Aguiar de Andrade is a partner of Veirano Advogados. Based in São Paulo, Mr. Andrade acts in the agribusiness industry and related sectors and his experience encompasses many areas, such as agribusiness regulatory requirements, biotechnology, contract negotiations, environmental, product stewardship, intellectual property, antitrust, M&A, labor and litigation.

Luís Felipe served as Legal Director at Worley Parsons for almost a year, between 2018 and 2019, following nine years at DuPont and Corteva Agriscience, as LatAm Strategic Agreements and Licensing Manager, as well as Legal Manager for Brazil and Paraguay. During his time at DuPont and Corteva, Luís managed all legal affairs related to the Pioneer Seeds, Industrial Biosciences and Building Innovations businesses, including corporate governance, commercial agreements, M&A, joint ventures, compliance, HR/employment, IP related agreements, regulatory, antitrust, environmental, customs, litigation and tax issues. In addition, he practiced law at three renowned Brazilian law firms, beginning his career at Baker & McKenzie.

Veirano Advogados‘ environmental team attracts instructions from domestic and international companies operating in a range of environmentally sensitive industries, including chemicals, electronics, infrastructure, mining, pharmaceuticals and energy.
