Elisa is a Senior Associate within our Corporate Claims team.

Elisa is an experienced litigator within the Corporate Claims group, with 19 years' litigation experience.

Elisa defends a multitude of complex employer's liability and public liability matters on behalf of private, corporate and insurer clients. Elisa always aims to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients, while considering a commercial approach and with an eye on the client's reputation and brand.

Elisa has achieved notable success in defending challenging liability and causation issues and has a particular interest in fundamental dishonesty pleadings. Elisa was recently successful in defending a claim pleaded at over £800,000, which was a particularly complex case with numerous expert witnesses and involved allegations of fundamental dishonesty.

Before joining Eversheds-Sutherland, Elisa acted for international insurers and large corporates. She defended industrial disease claims including NIHL, HAVS, upper limb injuries, dermatitis and asbestos-related diseases.

In her spare time, she enjoys travel, writing, reading and spending time with her family.
