Career

Ana Paula has extensive experience in corporate law, corporate governance, public offerings and M&A transactions involving listed companies and ESG requirements, where her focus is on governance-related matters.

She acts in innovative transactions, corporate reorganizations and public offerings in different economic sectors. Ana Paula acquired her experience in both the private and the public sectors.

Before joining BMA in December 2012, Ana Paula was a founding partner of a small law firm. She was a legal adviser with the National Financial System Appeals Council – CRSFN (2004-2009), participating actively in strategic discussions involving administrative infractions. She has acted as legal counsel to the Office of the President of ABRASCA – Brazilian Association of Listed Companies, and interned with the Central Bank of Brazil.

Ana Paula is Vice-President of ABRASCA’s Capital Markets Commission, and has been a member of the CVM’s Advisory Committee on Education since 2006. She is a member of the Panel of Judges for the CVM Press Prize and the CVM – B3 Monograph Competition. She has been a member of ABRASCA’s Legal Commission since 2004.
