Position

Teea Kemppinen is a partner in Bird & Bird’s Helsinki office and a member of our Finnish Employment Group. She specialises in all aspects of employment and labour law, including employment related dispute resolution where the advice is mainly focused on preventive and strategic action.

Career

Teea has worked with employment law for over 17 years, first five with Bützow Attorneys (nowadays Eversheds) and now with Bird & Bird for over 12 years already.

She has assisted her clients with many cooperation processes. In case an issue becomes a dispute, she assists the client with the dispute resolution and potential litigation.

Advising on a wide range of employment law issues, the Employment team assists its clients on all matters relating to the lifecycle of employment, from drafting employment and executive agreements to termination. They have vast knowledge of the sector specific collective agreements of their clients, and they excels in restructuring both nationally and internationally. They offer their clients advice on employment related due diligence, transfers of business, incentive programmes and business transactions.

The large size of Bird & Bird’s Employment team allows them to handle large scale issues with flexibility and speed. However, they are most often thanked for being the everyday strategic partner for their clients, the trusted advisor.
