Abdullah A. Alsaleh, Managing Partner

1) What do you see as the main points that differentiate Alsaleh, Alsahi & Partners Law Firm from your competitors?

At Alsaleh, Alsahli & Partners Law Firm L.L.P, we firmly believe that the intense competition held among various law firms is witnessing a considerable momentum in KSA, especially with the availability of highly qualified and specialized competencies. Therefore, the philosophy of our Firm, since its inception, depends on leveraging distinctive and rare competencies to be partners of our success. In addition, we do our best efforts to provide our clients, across such competencies, with legal work of an international character and in accordance with the highest standards while taking care of the client’s commercial and future business as much as possible, as well as ensuring the safety of legal loophole and its compliance with laws and regulations. Moreover, we are very keen to provide the legal services with the highest possible levels of professionalism in dealing fully until the final exit, taking into account the importance of our clients ‘ time and work, which does not accept delays at all.

2) Which practices do you see growing in the next 12 months? What are the drivers behind that?

Like so many jurists, there is no doubt that the direction of legal business is varied according to the specialization of the law firm and its services. Despite the legal services are required at different demand degrees, it is noteworthy that the spotlight in the current period is on mergers, acquisitions, bidding in the financial markets in addition to foreign investment in the Saudi markets. This is in line with Vision 2030, which encourage investment in different sectors and expanding the range of business activities. On the other hand, the Litigation and Dispute Resolution is moving towards legal specialization more than before, in view of the legalization work carried out by the legislative authorities in the Kingdom recently, as the presence of a specialized lawyer nowadays , in light of new legislations, has become a fundamental requirement for parties of conflict either for Proactive conflict counseling or legal representation during dispute.

3) What’s the main change you’ve made in the firm that will benefit clients?

To provide distinguished service to clients, the firm adopted two key factors, which are quality and high speed. Undoubtedly, business continuity is achieved based on the extent of customer satisfaction with the quality of the work provided and the time spent. Therefore, Alsaleh, Alsahli & Partners Law Firm L.L.P are very keen to provide services by competencies in addition to the support of an integrated work team while maintaining overall speed. Accordingly, the team members imbibed these two principles to the extent that they have become a milestone that motivates customers to deal with us.

4) Is technology changing the way you interact with your clients, and the services you can provide them?

There is no doubt that technical means, with its various forms, played a fundamental role in managing the works of the law firms and legal advice and providing their services to clients, in addition to ensuring marketing widespread for both businesses and customers. Since Alsaleh, Alsahli & Partners Law Firm L.L.P is a firm believer in technical compatibility with all data; it started from attending judicial hearings in the courts, holding meetings with clients from inside and outside the Kingdom, submitting requests to various government agencies through modern technology, and communication with customers and beneficiaries as well. Also, technology contributed greatly in achieving an impressive and noticeable spread among different segments of customers in terms of marketing the office business. In this regard, we cannot ignore the role of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which encouraged and helped to develop the technical infrastructure for all commercial and service businesses in the Kingdom, due to its significant role and urgent necessity.

5) Can you give us a practical example of how you have helped a client to add value to their business?

In most cases, the client has a certain development in a specific legal context, and he considers it the best applied and practical way; However, by studying the client’s situation and the goals he wants to achieve as a result of this legal procedure, he overlooks a number of statutory restrictions as well as results and outputs that may not be commensurate with the nature of his business or his final goals. Therefore, we are keen to share every detail with the client while considering the other dimensions such as commercial / financial / political / procedural dimension / and the like. By sharing such necessities with the client, we have added an advantage to the client’s legal business that no other office or facility may provide. Also, Alsaleh, Alsahli & Partners Law Firm L.L.P seeks to define client’s dimensions or goals he wants to achieve through the idea he proposes. Accordingly, we can provide other proposals and mechanisms through which the client can achieve the same goals with more streamlined procedures or fewer risks.

6) Are clients looking for stability and strategic direction from their law firms – where do you see the firm in three years’ time?

In fact, legal culture has become an essential part of daily life, in order to define pros and cons.. Recently, the desire of many different groups of society to obtain the desired legal enrichment is noticeable, not only on the commercial level, but also includes most branches of law. In this regard, many commercial enterprises in the Kingdom considered the need for strategic partners to support their businesses at all levels. Indeed, we started developing partnerships with law firms, not only to provide one service, but also to be present throughout their commercial and service businesses in a way that achieves the interests and consider their future aspirations.
