Career

Archaree is an Associate Director in the firm’s Bangkok office. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial, technology, e-payment, and banking matters.

She has been involved in many local and cross-border M&A transactions and assisting clients in several legal due diligence matters. She assists Thai and foreign clients in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts including share/asset sale and purchase agreements and shareholders’ agreements and advises them on corporate and commercial matters.

She also provides advice to clients on the operation of e-commerce business including legal compliance and required licenses and approvals for online sale of goods and services, personal data protection, e-payment and assists the clients in revising the terms and conditions and privacy policy for the online platform as well as other commercial agreements between the online merchants and service providers such as e-payment provider and supply chain management solutions provider.

She also advises foreign banks and borrowers in several cross-border banking transactions including reviewing and providing advice and legal opinion on facility agreements and security documents and conducting legal due diligence against borrowers and security grantors.

Apart form above, she advises on and assists clients in setting up business, anti competition, employment and securities matters.

Professional and industry experience

Archaree joined KPMG Phoomchai Legal Ltd. in December 2022. Previously Archaree was a Partner at ZICO Law Thailand having joined in March 2010. She left the firm to join The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited in November 2015 and re-joined the firm in September 2017 and became a Partner in 2018. She was a Junior Lawyer at FBLP Legal Ltd. (December 2009 – February 2010), Legal Trainee at Dharmniti Law Office (April – November 2009) and Legal Intern at Vickery & Worachai Ltd. (April 2006).
