Taylor Widawski is a Senior Associate at Hintze Law PLLC.

Taylor advises clients on privacy and security matters and has rich experience providing strategic advice on privacy programs as well as privacy product counseling across a variety of industries and topics. Before joining Hintze Law, Taylor was in-house privacy counsel at T-Mobile and Chime Financial. Taylor also worked at an AmLaw 100 firm where she focused on privacy counseling as well as defending against consumer class actions and other litigation with an emphasis on technology and privacy related matters.

Taylor’s experience leading privacy programs in-house allows her to provide simple and actionable advice with an eye toward scalability in uncertain regulatory environments. It has also given her the ability to seamlessly work with a variety of stakeholders including C-Suite executives and senior leadership, product, marketing, technology and IT, security, and engineering. She excels at distilling complex requirements into easily understood, practical, and actionable advice.

Representative areas of expertise include advising on matters relating to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CDPA), Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), CAN-SPAM, COPPA, GDPR, GLBA, TCPA, VPPA, adtech and martech, fintech, biometrics, assessing and integrating privacy practices and programs post mergers and acquisitions, employee privacy, privacy and security by design, vendor risk management, negotiation of privacy and security terms in data processing agreements, drafting and conducting privacy impact assessments, and developing and providing role-based privacy training.
