Yunus Emre Bakiler is dual-qualified as a Turkish lawyer and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and is specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. He acts as buy-side and sell-side legal counsel for local and international company acquisitions and advises clients on both day-to-day and extraordinary corporate governance issues. He also assists potential investors, in Turkey and abroad, on the best methods to structure their investments and to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. He also represents clients in courts and international arbitration proceedings for corporate and commercial disputes. Yunus Emre also provides tailored training programs and solutions to assist his clients in ensuring their compliance with local and international anti-bribery and corruption rules, such as the FCPA and the UKBA.

Yunus Emre leads OUB’s Non-Contentious Issues practice group and is the first point of contact for all inquiries and requests on corporate and commercial laws, mergers & acquisitions and anti-bribery and corruption compliance.
