Career

Registered lawyer at the Macau Lawyers Association since 2009. Joined “Vong Hin Fai Lawyers & Private Notary” in 2015 and is a senior partner and lawyer of the firm. In January 2020, she was granted the legal qualification of Hong Kong and Macau lawyers practicing in the Joint Venture Law Firm by the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province, since then she is one of the Macau Lawyers in Renhe Qibang Xianhui (Hengqin) Joint Venture Law Firm. In October 2022, he was granted qualification to practice as lawyer in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area by the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province, and since then serves as a “GBA lawyer” in Renhe Qibang Xianhui(Hengqin) Joint Venture Law Firm. Rosita is a part-time senior lecturer of the Faculty of Law of University of Macau since 2010, teaching Real Estate Law, Portuguese Legal Language and Research and Internship. She is also an invited lecturer of the Center for Continuing Education of University of Macau, teaching the course of International Human Rights Law for officers of a Macau Government department.

She worked in the Office of the Secretary for Security of Macau as legal advisor during 2010 – 2015, and was awarded a public commendation by the Secretary for Security of Macau for her outstanding working performance. She also served as a lecturer in the legal training courses in the Academy of Public Security Forces of Macau.

Actively participates in the development of alternative dispute resolution in Macau and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. She is council member, executive committee member and secretary general of the World Trade Center Macau Arbitration Center, council member of the Macau Consumer Mediation and Arbitration Centre, arbitrator listed in Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, Zhuhai Court of International Arbitration, Qingdao Arbitration Commission, member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), associate of Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (AHKIArb), accredited mediator of Macau World Trade Center Arbitration Center, and mediator listed in  Panel of Mediators for Investment Disputes regarding Investment Agreement under CEPA of Macau Lawyers Association Mediation and Conciliation Center.

Rosita’s main area of practices involves civil, labor, administrative and criminal litigations, assisting and representing clients in local and cross-border arbitration and mediation proceedings, as well as advising clients on company law, banking law, insurance law, real estate law and other related of non-litigation legal affairs, rendering legal opinions, drafting of various contracts in Chinese, English or Portuguese, serving as legal counsel and company secretary of private corporate clients and government owned corporations, acting as arbitrators in a number of cross-border arbitration cases in certain main arbitration institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

Education

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau with a Bachelor Degree in Law in 2005, and completed Master Degree in Law at the same Faculty in 2017. She is currently attending the LLM International Dispute Resolution Program at Queen Mary University of London.
