Career
Antonio Atulim is a former tax auditor on the Brazilian Federal Revenue Office (RFB) and a former judge from the Federal Administrative Tax Court (CARF), being very acknowledged and respected in both functions. He is widely known for his profound experience with federal tax and customs matters, in particular the tax on industrialized goods (IPI), taxes on revenue (PIS/COFINS) and tax classification of goods.
He has been intensely requested for issuing highly technical legal opinions related to tax classification, being able to strongly rebut the arguments of the notices of infraction. Also, his lifelong experience as a tax auditor has been crucial in foreseeing tax risks and sensitive points in operations and corporate structures.
