Data and Privacy Litigation

Position

Kingsley is Head of Data and Privacy Litigation at KP Law. He is an expert in data protection and data privacy, being one of the first solicitors in the UK to recognise the growing need for robust data protection with the rise of cyberattacks online.

Kingsley has worked on a group action claim against Ticketmaster, fighting for compensation for those affected by a vast data breach at the company. He presently represents more than 16,000 claimants in a group action case against EasyJet concerning a 2020 data breach and undertook a group action claim representing British Airways customers affected by a similar breach in 2018. He is currently leading a class of over 17,000 in litigation against the Police Federation for inadequate data protection practices.

Career

Before joining KP Law, Kingsley was Managing Director at Hayes Connor Solicitors. In just two years his successful leadership turned the firm from a new entrant in data breach law into a significant player in data protection law, helping clients claim compensation following GDPR breaches and other cyber offences.

Prior to this Kingsley was a Partner at both Hill Dickinson LLP and Silverbeck Rymer. He is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University.
