Associate Lawyer of the firm assisting in the overseeing of invention related procedures and actions before the National Office of Industrial Property and other administrative bodies of the Dominican Republic. Her professional practice is mainly focused overseeing prosecution matters regarding to patents, utility models and industrial designs in the Dominican Republic. Yet she is also involved with trademarks and the maintenance of Intellectual Property Rights.

Extensive knowledge and more than 15 years of work experience in the area of Industrial Property, Copyright, Related Rights and Corporate Law. Mainly in the whole area of Intellectual Property, trade names, trademarks, patents and legal proceedings before the National Office of Intellectual Property (ONAPI). Administrative and legal proceedings before the Customs Directorate (DGA) in relation to trademark counterfeiting and proceedings before the Intellectual Property Department All matters related to Copyright and Collective Management Societies of Copyright and Related Rights and their proceedings before the National Copyright Office (ONDA). Experience in entertainment law, focusing on the areas of creative industries. Negotiating and drafting contracts for artists, musicians, filmmakers and other creative professionals. Resolution of copyright infringement disputes, advice on fair use and licensing issues, and legal advice on entertainment industry contracts, such as distribution agreements, licensing agreements and talent contracts. Drafting of contracts and licenses, strategic advice to protect and enforce intellectual property rights. Experience in the area of corporate negotiation, incorporation and management of companies, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and regulatory compliance. Structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements, managing due diligence processes and advising clients on legal and regulatory matters related to corporate transactions.
