Dr. Hannah Jenke is an expert in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences. As a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, she advises German and international clients on all aspects of intellectual property. She specializes in FTO and IP due diligence analyses, developing filing strategies, drafting patent applications, and litigation proceedings.

Career

After completing her Master’s degree in Molecular Biosciences at Heidelberg University in 2013, she earned her doctorate in Comparative Developmental Genetics at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research (MPIPZ) in Cologne. Dr. Hannah Jenke was part of the International Max Planck Research School and the Graduate School for Biological Sciences at the University of Cologne. She completed her patent attorney training at a medium-sized law firm as well as at Düsseldorf Regional Court and the German Patent and Trademark Office in Munich. She has been admitted as a German patent attorney by the German Patent and Trademark Office since 2022 and as a professional representative before the European Patent Office since 2023.
