Dr. Hammouri is the Managing Partner at Hammouri & Partners. Dr. Hammouri focuses on Corporate & Commercial law, Banking & Finance law, Arbitration and Litigation, Aviation, Energy and Projects. Dr. Hammouri is involved in many industry sectors in Jordan, particularly the industry of construction, engineering, electricity, telecommunications, banking, insurance and retailing. He has an extensive experience in acting for government authorities and lenders in project finance deals. Dr. Tariq Hammouri regularly advises tier-1 banks and financial institutions on M&A transactions, syndicated loan arrangements and project finance. He is also involved in numerous Arbitration proceedings and handles for clients all aspects of ADR. In the academia, Dr. Hammouri has served during 2012-2014 as the Dean of the Law School at the University of Jordan, a keynote speaker in international legal conferences and has written numerous scientific articles, mainly on Commercial Law matters, which have been published in the most accredited legal journals. Dr. Tariq Hammouri sits as member of board in various professional associations and bodies in Jordan and he is the Chair Professor of Copyright Law in UNESCO.

Dr. Hammouri has received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B./1997) degree from the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan and a Master of Laws (LL.M./1998) degree in Commercial Law from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Dr. Hammouri holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D./2002) from the University of Bristol, England, UK and a Diploma in Trade Policy and Multi-Lateral Trading Systems by the World Trade Organization/AMF.
