Position
Magnus Hamsch is a Senior Associate in Fieldfisher´s Frankfurt am Main office in the Dispute Resolution department, with a particular expertise in Finance and Financial Regulatory Law.
He specialises in litigation and arbitration, particularly in the area of financial Dispute Resolution.
He represents companies, banks and financial service providers in litigation before state courts, in arbitration proceedings, out of court and vis-à-vis public authorities. The focus of his work is on complex damage and liability cases, Banking and Credit Law disputes as well as Regulatory and Capital Markets Law disputes.
He has particular experience in Financial, Capital Markets, Money Laundering and Financial Regulatory Law as well as in contentious and non-contentious proceedings before the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and other authorities (e.g. Frankfurt Stock Exchange).
Career
Prior to joining Fieldfisher, he worked for a leading UK law firm and a large German law firm.
