Thilo Danz, LL.M. (Osnabrück) is a Frankfurt based finance partner with a particular focus on financial regulation assisting credit institutions, insurance undertakings and other financial service providers to develop their businesses within challenging and constantly changing environments.

In the field of banking supervisory law his expertise includes compliance related as well as product specific issues; with respect to insurance supervisory and investment funds law he focuses on investment restrictions. His long-term in-house experience enables him to provide clients with legally robust and commercially viable advice.

His client base consists of foreign and German credit institutions, financial services institutions, payment services providers as well as insurance undertakings.

Furthermore, he advises entities and individuals with regard to their investments in German regulated institutions.

Career

Prior to joining Fieldfisher he worked for two UK law firms and a US investment bank.
