Ola Ø. Nisja is a Partner at Wikborg Rein's Oslo office and is head of the firm's Contract Law and Construction practice. He has substantial experience in litigation and dispute resolution and is admitted to the Supreme Court. Wikborg Rein¬†specialises in construction disputes thanks to the leadership of litigator and co-head¬†Ola Nisja; he recently acted for Peab Bolig Prosjekt in a dispute arising from defects in a residential project in Drammen. Other work includes representing AF Gruppen in a final account claim relating to a gas sector infrastructure project, advising Storebrand on the development and construction of an office building and shopping centre in Oslo, and acting for Fridmark in a damages claim relating to two residential developments in Oslo. Ola Haugen heads the practice at Wikborg Rein and has 'a prodigious command of the law'; clients also praise 'excellent lawyer' Kaare Andreas Shetelig (who 'does an excellent job'), and Ola Nisja who is 'outstanding both in and out of court and provides superb strategic advice'. Haugen recently acted for the Norwegian Armed Forces in two cases against Avinor relating to the transfer of Bergen and Trondheim airports to Avinor, and Dag Mjaaland represented Naftogaz in two international arbitrations relating to its gas sales contract with Gazprom and a transit contract. Norsk Gjenvinning, Troms Kraft and DNB are also clients. Mads Magnussen joined the group from his position as a District Court judge.
