Career

Luis Jiménez joined Uría Menéndez in 2010 and was made Partner of the firm in 2021. Between May 2015 and June 2016, he was based in Uría Menéndez’s office in New York City.

He focuses his practice on debt restructuring transactions, corporate lending, acquisition finance and project finance, advising both lenders and borrowers.

Luis has also participated in several M&A transactions and project finance restructurings related to the energy sector. In addition, he regularly advises companies on corporate law.

He has been involved in some of the largest and most innovative financing and debt restructuring transactions in Spain in recent years and has extensive experience on cross-border financing, restructuring and M&A transactions.
