Career

Jana Johnsen is a partner in Schjødt’s Tax & Structure department and is also currently head of the firm’s Bergen office.  Her principal areas of work are tax, dispute resolution, and private M&A. She has extensive experience advising on domestic and international taxation and representing clients in administrative proceedings and disputes before the ordinary courts. She frequently advises on transactions between shareholders and companies, change of ownership in family-held companies, wealth taxation, tax domiciliation, transfer pricing and establishment and optimization of corporate- and tax structures, representing, among others, holding companies, high net-worth individuals and Family Offices. She also has experience as the executor of wills.

Jana joined Schjødt in 2013. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen and holds a Master in Auditing and Accounting from the Norwegian School of Economics.
