Career

Paula Ponces Camanho joined the firm in 2006 and became a non-equity partner in 2018. She is head of an employment team and she is also a member of the sport and entertainment team.

Before she joined the firm, she practiced as a lawyer from 1990 to 1999 and as a consultant from 1999 to 2005 at the law firm Osório de Castro, Verde Pinho, Vieira Peres, Lobo Xavier e Associados – Sociedade de Advogados.

Paula has been an Assistant Professor at Católica Porto Law School since 1990 and she’s a regular speaker at congresses, seminars and postgradute courses.

Paula is a Lecturer in several postgraduate studies in Labour Law, Social Security and Banking Law, organized by the University of Lisbon School of Law, Nova Law School, Católica Lisbon School of Law and Católica Porto School of Law.

She was also a Lecturer at the MBA from the Portuguese Entrepreneurial Association (AEP) and Porto Business School.

Paula is the author of several articles published in books and legal magazines, both national and foreign, in the areas of civil, banking and labour law.
