Legal Remedies

United KingdomStrategy
The legal remedies available to those fighting noise were improved by the statutory nuisance procedures contained in the Environmental Protection Act 1990, but very few complaints result in prosecution because the abatement notice procedure is still rather cumbersome. Few local authorities have special noise patrol units.
