On 12 January 2026, the Central Bank of Ireland (“Central Bank”) published the results (“Results”) of its thematic assessment (“Assessment”) of operational resilience in the MiFID investment firm sector. The Assessment is in line with the Central Bank’s previous assertion, in its 2025 Regulatory and Supervisory Outlook report (“RSOReport”), that enhancing operational resilience across the financial sector is a key priority for 2026 / 2026. For more information on the RSO, see FIG Top 5 at 5 dated 6 March 2025.
