10月13日、広州で開催された「情報通信産業知的財産権発展フォーラム」において、情報通信産業知的財産権連盟のIoT（Internet of Things）専門委員会が正式に発足した。中国の通信大手・中国移動（チャイナ・モバイル）が主催するこのフォーラムは、知的財産権の健全な環境を築くための対話の場として設けられ、産業全体の高品質な発展を促進することを主旨としている。
新設されたIoT専門委員会には、20社のIoT分野を牽引するリーディングカンパニーが第1陣としてメンバーに名を連ねた。委員会は、業界の知的財産権の健全な発展をサポートし、IoT分野の知的財産権交流のプラットフォームを構築することで、産業の安定した発展を後押しする。
このフォーラムではまた、5G産業知的財産権運営センター、中国技術取引所、および広州知的財産権取引センターとの間で協力協定の調印式が行われた。今後、これらの組織は知的財産権と技術取引の分野で緊密に連携し、知的財産権の管理や科学技術の成果を共同で進めることが期待される。
