中国国家知識産権局（CNIPA）とユーラシア特許庁は4月1日より双方間の特許審査ハイウェイ（PPH）試行プログラムの試行期間を無期限で延長することに合意した。
期間延長された中国・ユーラシア PPH 試行プログラムは、元の通常のPPH協力モデルのほか、PCT-PPH協力モデルが追加された。つまり、双方の出願人は、特許協力条約（PCT）出願の国際段階成果物を利用して、CNIPAとユーラシア特許庁に対して、特許審査ハイウェイ(PCT-PPH)の利用を申請することができる。具体的な要件と手続きは中国ユーラシアPPHガイドラインを参照するという。
CNIPAは2011年11月に初のPPH試行プログラムを開始し、現在は30の国・地域の特許審査当局とPPH協力を展開している。
