6月8日、2022年度五大特許庁長官会合（IP5）がテレビ会議形式で開催された。欧州特許庁（EPO）がホスト役を務め、五大特許庁の長官が出席し、世界知的所有権機関（WIPO）のLisa Jorgenson事務局次長がオブザーバーとして会合に参加した。
会議で採択された五庁長官による共同声明の中で、五極 特許庁・ユーザー会合（IP5 Industry Meeting）開催10周年を祝い、10年間の重要な成果を総括したうえ、今後の主な協力事業を明確にした。
中国国家知識産権局（CNIPA）申長雨局長は、過去1年間に五庁が新型コロナウイルス感染症の克服で手を携え、五庁協力で新たな重要成果を獲得したと評価し、各国とともに共通の課題に対応し、協力を深めていきたいと表明した。8日に開催された五極特許庁・ユーザー会合において、申局長は、持続可能な発展の支援に向けた知的財産権の活用に関する河北省張家口市の実例を紹介した。中国専利保護協会の加盟企業である華為（ファーウェイ）や比亜迪（BYD）、中国長江三峡集団有限公司など15社の代表が参加し、中国産業界のニーズと期待を訴えた。
